The Selangor FC Soccer Schools program will take a break during the month of Ramadan after taking place for the past 6 weeks and will return to training as usual on 14 May 2022.

Youth and grassroots development is one of the approaches taken by Selangor FC to provide school children throughout the state of Selangor with consistent and orderly football training through their school participation.

After almost 2 years (20 months) of not being able to run the program, the children were unable to train physically, due to the restrictions of SOP and Covid-19 by the Ministry of Education Malaysia which does not allow any program to be conducted in schools.

After a full consideration and planning, Soccer School Selangor FC has held a program at the MBSA public field Section 8 Shah Alam. Nearly 140 children have been practicing weekly on Saturday and Sunday during morning sessions since last February.

On the weekend of 19th & 20th March 2022, children who participated in this program had the opportunity to train exclusively at the official training ground of Selangor FC. They also received a pleasant surprise after the training session ended, whereby they were able to meet the players and coaches of the main team of Selangor FC.

The Ministry of Health recently announced that Covid-19 will enter the endemic phase and social life in general will return to normal. Thus, Soccer School Selangor FC has arranged many plans for the future, especially conducting weekly training sessions at school and outside the school location (public field).

Soccer School Selangor FC would like to thank the parents and children who have supported this program thus far. We will take the break time to improve and upgrade our system to be better in May 2022.
